This qualification is aimed at mobile and static plant, or other operators who are required to undertake some form of basic maintenance as part of their job role. This qualification is not appropriate for fitters or Learners who carry out maintenance as their main job role. Those Learners should instead undertake the Level 3 Diploma in Maintenance for Mineral Products Operations.

This qualification is designed for individuals who carry out maintenance and/or fabrication activities on mobile and/or fixed plant. Typically Learners would be individuals who carry out maintenance activities in a range of applications based on experience and internal training with no formal qualifications.

This qualification is designed for those individuals who are responsible for the planning, implementation and supervision of maintenance activities and personnel within mineral products operations. To achieve this qualification, learners must complete all seven of the mandatory units. Completing this qualification demonstrates the learner's competence to supervise maintenance activities.

Level 3 Diploma in Weighbridge Operations MPQC

This qualification is suitable for aspiring or already appointed weighbridge operators or supervisors working in weighbridges across the business, in areas such as quarries, waste facilities, cement, asphalt (tar) plants or block works. It also demonstrates that the individual is competent to perform their daily duties as required by The Quarry Regulations 1999. However, you do not have to be in this designated role to achieve this qualification.
